Hello My Friend:


It’s Christine Thomson, your Compassionate Nutritionist! If you haven’t read my story yet, let me give you a little background on myself and the story behind my very own weight loss journey and success.



My journey began when I was 8 years old, which was when I began to put on excess weight after being forced into the “Clean Plate Club.”  You may be familiar with that “club”, the one where you make sure you clean your entire plate of food (even if you feel full) so you don’t feel guilty about the orphans in underprivileged countries having less food than you.



After many years of yo-yo dieting and losing/gaining weight throughout my teens and early twenties, I completed my degree in nutrition and became a Registered Dietitian.  I naively thought this would be the answer to all of my weight problems.  Boy, was I WRONG!



Although I had the theoretical knowledge of nutrition and how the body works on a cellular level to keep us healthy everyday, I still found myself with challenges when it came to losing weight and keeping it off.  This became even more of a challenge for me when I began to have children and my time became even more limited. 



It became increasingly more difficult to find the time to prepare healthy meals, take good care of myself (physically, mentally, & spiritually), and find quality time for my family.  I felt like a hypocrite because I was an overweight nutritionist, although my heart was in the right place.



It wasn’t until I began to really dig deeper into whole foods nutrition and learning even more about my body from a deeper, more spiritual perspective, that things started to change for the better. 



I also started putting into place specific “lifestyle management” techniques that allowed me to better manage the “wiggly” things in my life so I had the energy to do the things that were on my To-Do List, and more. 



I now have the skills to manage my time and energy to accomplish everything that I need (and want) to do each day, and that includes preparing healthy, whole food meals for myself and my family, exercising, and most importantly, I have fun doing it.  My weight is no longer an issue for me because I nurture my body, mind, and spirit with what it needs. 


I finally conquered a life-long battle with food and weight issues that I thought would be with me forever, and YOU can do the same!

I’ve Learned A Lot, and Want to Share it With You…

First of all, you should know that if you’re struggling with being overweight because you feel like you just don’t have the time or energy to do what it takes, it’s not your fault.  There is a way out of the “Vortex” cycle of guilt, shame, and frustration associated with yo-yo dieting.

To get from where I was (overweight, tired, ashamed, frustrated) to where I am now (fit, healthy, energetic, and happy), I had to learn a lot–the hard way.  It definitely wasn’t an easy ride because there was a lot of trial an error.  But it all paid off in the long run.  It was my path to take so I can use what I’ve learned to help others.



I have created a lifestyle for myself that allowed me to lose the excess weight that I’ve carried on my body for decades.  I have the energy to do all the things that I need and want to do every day.  And I eat & live healthy because I want to, not just because it’s the right thing to do.



In my opinion, that’s PRICELESS!
